New Delhi: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari told the Lok Sabha on Thursday that a new 210 km long Green Expressway between Delhi and Dehradun will be built so that the distance between the two cities will be completed in just three-quarter hours Will be able to go, which takes more than five hours.

In response to the supplementary questions of Tirath Singh Rawat in the Question Hour, Gadkari informed that the government has planned to construct a 210 km long Green Expressway between Delhi and Dehradun. The Union Minister said that about 10 km long elevated road will also be on this route.
Contract will be given in June
He said that work will be awarded for this in June this year and after it is ready, the distance between Delhi and Dehradun will be three-and-three hours. Gadkari also informed that the Delhi-Meerut Express-Way will start in June this year, after which the distance between the two cities will be just 45 minutes.
